In Vietnam, Lifestyle Solutions is committed to supporting young people with disability and investing in training initiatives to empower others to provide support and services within the disability sector.

Lifestyle Solutions (Aust) Ltd is registered in Australia as a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable status. Our fundraising number is 18502 and ABN number 85 097 999 347.

In Vietnam, Lifestyle Solutions (Aust) Ltd was officially registered as an INGO (International Non-Governmental Organisation) in April 2011. The organisation is regulated by the People's Aid Co-ordinating Committee (PACCOM) in Hanoi. Our PACCOM Registration is AT586.

Group Home Project

Our collaborative Group Home Project has been designed to enhance the quality of life for the people we support.  This pilot project will provide accommodation support for up to 8 young people with disability and will focus on:

  • promoting active participation and inclusion in community life
  • promoting independence
  • providing support to develop and sustain social and community relationships
  • facilitating ongoing vocational training
  • encouraging open communication between families, carers and circles of friends

The project is a collaborative partnership between:

  • Lifestyle Solutions
  • Department of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), Tam Ky, Quang Nam Province

This pilot project planned for Hoi An City will be the first group home model to be implemented in Vietnam and our vision is to make this the first of many group homes to support young people with disability in Vietnam.

Training Course

Lifestyle Solutions has formed a collaborative agreement to develop and implement a range of training initiatives to empower individuals to work within the disability sector. The ultimate objective of our training courses is to improve the resources and support available to people with disability.

These training courses may include:

The provision of these training courses has been made possible through a collaborative partnership between Lifestyle Solutions and Nguyen Viet Nhan MD. PhD.  Associate Professor, Office of Genetic Counselling & Disabled Children (OGCDC) of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy.

  • Offering students a training course in:
    • Certificate 3 in Disability
    • Certificate 4 in Disability
  • Promoting a student exchange program
  • Promoting a ‘Train the Trainer’ program for positive approaches in disability services.
